Sketch Club previously ran weekly on the London Fringe from 2002 to 2007, and was a much-loved part of the live comedy circuit. Regularly hosted by Brian Luff, notable performers included E4’s rising stars Cardinal Burns, Perrier winner Laura Solon, Pappy’s Fun Club, award-winning BBC double act Colin and Fergus, T4 presenter Rick Edwards and comedian Joe Wilkinson.

Special guests and surprise acts included Russell Brand, Mark Maier and the notorious “Comedy Terrorist” Aaron Barschak. Sketch Club also produced numerous comedy shows on the Edinburgh Fringe, and have for many years used the festival to develop new material for television.
